Not so bad after all

Interesting family fact: My Mom and Aunt’s birthdays are three years and three days apart (6th and 9th of July), while mine and my older sister’s birthdays are three years and two days apart (7th and 9th of March). I ruined it by coming a day late.
While I’m going to be 28 in, oh, 45 minutes, my sister will be 31 on Sunday but she was blessed with unusually youthful looks and is often mistaken for someone half her age and I am usually guessed to be slightly to depressingly older than what I am. My sister takes pride in this, often talks about it, and I can’t blame her, but then tonight there was this conversation with my 10 year old nephew:
Me: Do you know how old I’m going to be?
Him: No.
Me: Guess.
Him: 22?
Me: I’ll take it. Can you guess how old your Mom is going to be?
Him [with disdain]: 37.
Her: You’re grounded.
Best birthday present ever.
